ICE Desktop - test requesting, result reporting and discharge summary letters.
ICE Desktop provides seamless interaction between the GP practice system and services provided by secondary care.
ICE Requesting allows the ordering of pathology, radiology and any other service the Primary Care Trust wishes to make available. ICE Reporting allows the practice based user to access the full patient result summary regardless of where the request was made. The provision of the download option allows a user to request a result message to be transmitted to the practice using the same mechanism as practice requested tests.
Additional functionality includes the ability to present and message clinical correspondence including the immediate discharge summary letter.
