Patient Record Access allows selected patients to view their medical records over a secure internet connection. As part of EMIS Access, it’s a safe and convenient way for patients to view test results, consultation notes and medical history – from anywhere in the world.
Access to this information gives patients better knowledge of their medical condition, empowering them to become more involved in their care plan and manage their own health.
Practices using the service have reported improved health management by patients and increases in safety as patients can spot any recording errors.
