Mentor Library is an electronic medical knowledge support system developed by EMIS and Oxford University Press. Seamlessly integrated with all EMIS clinical systems, it enables health professionals to quickly reference reliable information during consultations. The Mentor Library is updated online to ensure that the information remains up to date at all times. It contains information from a variety of medical publications, including:

Clinical handbook

This section incorporates peer-reviewed evidence based material and is an integral source of information during consultations.

Travel advice

Travel advice offers guidance upon the health care of patients travelling to exotic locations. It is regularly updated remotely, offering the most up to date information. This section has been developed by EMIS with validated data supplied by the Hospital of Tropical Diseases.

COTM

The Concise Oxford Textbook of Medicine offers accessible, readable information on every disorder the GP is likely to encounter. It is ideal for reference, combining the latest science with the best of clinical practice.

DeRmis

DeRmis assists with the analysis of skin symptoms. Using advanced accurate pattern recognition techniques, it suggests diseases that might cause observed clinical features. It contains associated images and cross-references with other areas of the Mentor Library.

Mentor Library also includes:
